1.

What does the price include?
Our prices are based on printing a logo, photo or image on one side of the product only. We will add a name or brief text description at the bottom or top, if requested, at no additional charge. Imprinting of a logo, photo or image on both sides will require a charge of $5.50 in addition to our regular price. This is due to the additional labor
involved and the use of additional inks which are very expensive.

2.

How much do you charge for shipping and handling?
Essentially, we use a sliding scale of cost based on the dollar range of the total purchase to a single destination. Our lowest cost to ship is $8.50, and our highest is $50. Sales over $350 are shipped free.

3.

What is the turnaround time from when I place my order until I receive shipment?
On orders of 1-24 mugs or steins, we attempt to ship within 10days of receipt of confirmation of your order from our credit card processor. Larger orders will take longer. To date, the longest we have taken to ship our largest orders has been 5 weeks. We generally use the U.S. Postal Service. Smaller orders are sent "Priority" (2-3 day delivery). Otherwise, we send Parcel Post (5-8 days). Most orders fall into the10-21 day category for delivery to you.

4.

How do I get my logo, photo or image to you?
Our online order form does not allow for the attachment of  your logo, photo or image. Independent of placing your order online, send us an email with your logo, photo or image as an attachment. Otherwise, you will have to mail it to us. Our address is on the "Contact Us" page of our website.

5.

What about the size, format and resolution of the logo, photo or image sent?
The working area on each side of a mug or stein is approximately 3" X 3". At this printed size, the minimum resolution for a good imprint is 300 dots-per-inch. A 3" X 3" dimension at 300 dpi makes for a file of 900 pixels X 900 pixels. This is considered minimum. It can be larger, but if it is smaller the imprint will be less than ideal. The format will depend on the image. A photo is generally saved as a ".jpg" or ".tif" file. Other artwork may be formatted as a ".gif" or ".bmp". In certain instances, we can even use a ".doc" (Word) file format.

6.

As relates to text, can we select any font and text color that we want?
The quick answer is "yes"; as long as we have the font. Color is not a problem. Virtually any color is possible. Many customers design their own text using programs such as "WordArt" in Microsoft Word. Then they simply attach the Word file to an email and send it to us for imprinting. This way they can control the text design/style, font and color.

7.

Why is it that no one returns my call placed to your "800" number?
We have thought about this a lot. We receive orders and phone calls from all around the world. If we returned every phone call, we would be out of business. Although the "800" phone call is toll-free to you, a return call costs us money. Although ours is exclusively a web-based business in which email is the preferred method of communication, we wanted our customers to have a variety of ways to get messages and instructions to us; including by telephone. Having stated this, we do return email messages several times each day.

8.

Are your products dishwasher safe? Do the images fade?
The suppliers of our ceramic mugs advertise that their products are dishwasher safe. Although we have never had a mug returned due to fading, we have experienced problems of color transfering to other dishes that the mug touches while being washed. This is due to the extreme temperatures being used by modern dishwashers.  Our steins are not advertised as dishwasher safe. Nevertheless, these don't fade either.  Having said this, we always suggest that since most mugs and steins are ordered for sentimental value reasons, you should consider hand washing.

Do you keep my artwork on file in case I break my mug or stein or simply want to order more in the future?
Yes !
